A review of the Finance System has resulted in the discovery that the application of the Home Owner Grant (HOG) was incorrectly applied against certain properties for the period 2003-2016. Subsequently, twenty-four (24) properties have been identified as not receiving the maximum HOG that was available to the individual property owner. The District of Lantzville Council has provided direction that the District will be refunding the owners the additional HOG that the property owner should have received had the HOG been applied fully, for the taxation years 2003-2016.

A list of impacted properties is provided below. If, for the years 2003-2016, you were the owner of a property identified on the list of impacted properties, you may be eligible for additional Home Owner Grant. Please review the policy “Home Owner Grant Refund Program”, and submit a request for refund form.
