Lantzville Fire Rescue

Lantzville Fire Rescue is recruiting now for 2018! We're looking for enthusiastic men and women to join our team and become a part of the tradition of protecting our community. The Lantzville Volunteer Fire Department (Lantzville Fire Rescue) consists of approximately 30 members dedicated to providing not only fire protection but emergency assistance to the residents of our community. Paid on-call firefighters serve the community in many different ways including emergency response, fire prevention, and education and support at community events.

Lantzville Fire Rescue produces and makes available to the public, a number of brochures dealing with outdoor burning, fire safety, etc. These information brochures may be obtained from Lantzville Fire Rescue or the Municipal Hall and residents are encouraged to attend at the Municipal Hall or call if you have any questions relating to fire protection.

For more information on fire protection and associated restrictions, please view the following bylaws, passed by Council: Fire Protection Services Bylaw No. 86, 2010 and Fire Protection Services Amendment Bylaw No. 86.1, 2012.
